Mawson Infrastructure Group is seeking an experienced Director of Corporate Development who is a creative problem solver with a passion for innovation to drive strategic growth initiatives and M&A activities. Reporting to the CEO, the candidate will identify, evaluate, and execute value-creating opportunities that expand our digital infrastructure platform.
We're looking for someone who has high levels of integrity and who can apply leadership and influencing skills when required. You will need a strong analytical mind, an eye for details and the flexibility to adapt to rapidly changing priorities.
What will you own?
• Lead market analysis and competitive intelligence in the digital infrastructure sector
• Develop and maintain detailed financial analysis of the company's operations and competitors
• Structure and negotiate strategic partnerships and transactions
• Develop comprehensive financial models and valuation analyses
• Drive end-to-end M&A and capital raise processes from strategy through integration
• Build and maintain relationships with financial sponsors, investment banks, advisors, strategics and other stakeholders
• Monitor competitive landscape and identify emerging market opportunities
• Prepare investment memoranda, content for Board meetings and other ad-hoc presentations as required, sometimes on short notice
• Support the diligence of greenfield sites and other capital projects
• Drive ad-hoc projects at the request of the CEO and Management team
What you have:
The candidate is expected to have at a minimum these levels of competencies, or should be able to demonstrate an ability to develop them within an reasonable timeframe to satisfy the role:
What You'll Need:
• 5+ years of progressive experience in investment banking (preferably TMT coverage), corporate development at a technology/infrastructure company, buy-side investing experience, or a combination of these
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or other relevant majors
• MBA and/or CFA preferred but not required
• Strong financial modeling and valuation skills
• Expertise in the technology, digital infrastructure, or energy sectors (prior experience with datacenters is strongly preferred)
• Track record of working on M&A and capital raise transactions from start to close
• Track record of leading complex negotiations and structuring creative deal terms
• Superior communication skills and stakeholder management abilities
• Natural curiosity and strategic thinking mindset
• Deep enthusiasm for technology and sustainable infrastructure
• Experience managing multiple workstreams independently and coordinating with cross-functional teams
• Strong understanding of public company considerations and capital markets dynamics
• Ability to both drive projects with minimal guidance and support team initiatives as needed
