Role Summary
We are seeking a qualified and experienced professional to manage and oversee various aspects of income tax assessments, litigation, compliance, advisory, and transfer pricing matters. The ideal candidate should demonstrate a deep understanding of Indian taxation laws and international tax regulations, with a proven track record of managing complex cases.

Key Responsibilities
Income Tax Assessment & Compliance:
• Manage end-to-end income tax assessments, including liaising with tax authorities and clients.
• Ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns, responses, and submissions.
• Handle tax audits.
• Maintain proper documentation to support tax positions and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
Tax Litigation:
• Represent clients before tax authorities, tribunals, and appellate bodies.
• Draft submissions, petitions, and arguments for tax hearings.
• Coordinate with legal counsel for representation in high-stake tax cases.
Tax Advisory:
• Provide expert advice on direct tax planning and structuring.
• Assist clients in understanding tax implications for business decisions.
• Stay updated on changes in tax laws and proactively communicate their impact to clients.
Transfer Pricing:
• Prepare and review transfer pricing documentation and reports.
• Conduct benchmarking studies to determine arm's-length pricing.
• Handle transfer pricing audits and assessments.
• Advise on intercompany transactions, profit allocations, and related-party transactions.

Candidate Requirements
• Education: Must be a Lawyer (LLB).
• Experience:
o Minimum 3-4 years of post-qualification experience in handling income tax matters.
o Prior exposure to transfer pricing and international taxation would be preferable.
• Skills:
o Strong knowledge of Indian Income Tax Act, Transfer Pricing regulations, and international tax laws.
o Excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills.
o Ability to handle complex cases independently.
o Proficient in using tax software and tools.
• Behavioral Attributes:
o High degree of professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical conduct.
o Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
o Ability to work effectively under deadlines and manage multiple assignments.
