Principal Responsibilities

Overall accountability for driving increased profitability from TMT sector clients in India
Maintain forward looking view on market developments and develop strategy to meet evolving client needs
Develop and implement innovative financial and service solutions through frequent coordination between the Group's business units and subsidiaries’
Maintain strong, active partnerships with Senior Managers across a diverse group of business partners spanning senior executives, product partners, risk management and compliance
Ensure the Group's exposure to both financial and non-financial risk within the TMT sector is appropriately monitored and controlled
Ensure compliance and control policies are followed and maintained
Actively engage with key stakeholders in Risk, Compliance and Operations to develop policies and procedures that are more client centric and which allow HSBC to grow in fast growing areas within the sector
Manage, train, develop and assess a high achieving, geographically diverse team who are in turn facing geographically diverse clients
Manage executives in the team to independently handle the equivalent responsibilities within their respective sectors / geographies

Requirements
Knowledge and Experience

Substantial industry and market knowledge
Proven history of achievement in leadership/management roles
Demonstrated ability to develop a strategic dialogue with clients on a multi-dimensional basis
Proven track record in winning substantial business for the Group across full range of products
Strong commercial acumen, evidence of proactively developing and originating client solutions
Track record of building, developing and maintaining long term relationships particularly at key decision maker level for all clients
Excellent portfolio management skills, strong understanding of risk management and risk mitigation
Deep understanding of how to manage and mitigate Non-Financial Risk within the TMT Sector
Knowledge of HSBC Group and products with a strong network of contacts across all business areas would be deeply beneficial
