Qualifications
A bachelor's degree from a four-year college/university in an analytical and/or business-oriented major (Finance, Business or Accounting) is required
10 years minimum work experience in a high-paced environment focusing on qualitative and quantitative analysis
Previous experience in gaming, hospitality or food and beverage is required
Ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects simultaneously with short deadlines without being overwhelming
Must possess strong communication and listening skills, excellent speaking, reading and writing
Ability to effectively pitch and present information in one-on-one and group situations to media, customers, clients, partners and other employees of the organization
Ability to perform complex quantitative calculations or reasoning using algebra, geometry, statistics, or abstract symbols
Ability to use logic to define problems, collect information, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, interpret information and deal with abstract variables for unique or unfamiliar situations

Responsibilities
The Director of Analysis is responsible for supporting the growth and profitability of Hard Rock International and Seminole Gaming hospitality verticals by supplying senior management with analysis and insight into financial results and projections, and providing data-based analysis to support business decisions
This position requires a high degree of accuracy as the information provided is critical to support key decision makers within food & beverage, hotel and marketing operations
Prepare weekly reports to support specific hotel, food and beverage and retail areas, including graphs, metrics, analysis, sales forecasts, cost of sales (actual versus theoretical), labor productivity and other operating costs
Assist in analyzing and interpreting trends and financial results
Prepare monthly forecasting, actual versus budget expense variance review, gross margin analysis, benchmarking, etc. as it relates to hotel, food and beverage and retail operations
Ensure operations’ data, reporting, and analytics needs are met by producing top quality dashboards, reports and graphs
Leverage various analytical techniques and tools to conduct regular and ad-hoc analyses that explain current and past activity, causal effects, expected trends and potential impact of changes
Serve as an advisor to the President of Café Operations and field leaders on spending in accordance with annual budgets and forecasts
Design, implement and monitor KPI’s for marketing campaigns and initiatives through coordination with the marketing team to ensure they are aligned with business goals and objectives
Prepare post-forma analysis on campaigns using agreed upon metrics and methodology in collaboration with the marketing department
Analyze and quantify impact of all proposed price changes, monitor execution of price changes and promotional initiatives, and key business metrics to assess the impact of pricing actions and promotional initiatives
Support operations in budgeting and forecasting activities
Review P&L spending for efficiency and effectiveness against business and evaluate variances, risks and opportunities
Champion continuous and measurable improvement in the company’s financial and operational processes and practices

Qualifications

Experience:
• A bachelor's degree from a four-year college/university in an analytical and/or business-oriented major (Finance, Business or Accounting) is required. MBA, CFA or CPA is desirable.
• 10 years minimum work experience in a high-paced environment focusing on qualitative and quantitative analysis. Previous experience in gaming, hospitality or food and beverage is required.
• Ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects simultaneously with short deadlines without being overwhelming.
• Multiple language abilities a plus; fluency in English required.
• Must possess strong communication and listening skills, excellent speaking, reading and writing.
• Ability to effectively pitch and present information in one-on-one and group situations to media, customers, clients, partners and other employees of the organization.
