How you will create a positive impact for the people of NSW
As the Director Banking System Architect, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of banking and payments infrastructure for the state. Your expertise will drive key government priorities, ensuring a secure, efficient, and innovative financial ecosystem.
In this role, you will:
Develop and implement a multi-partner strategy for banking and payments, addressing critical areas such as platform capability, cyber risk, data, digital ID, and AI.
Design and support the architecture for managing financial data across the sector, enhancing spend analysis, data quality, and cash forecasting for NSW Treasury.
Lead the creation of a sustainable solution for analysing All of Government spend.
Spearhead the development of digital asset capabilities and customer-centric payment systems in collaboration with the Department of Customer Service.
Engage with industry, federal, and regulatory bodies to transition from legacy systems to modern payment systems.

Eligibility
To be eligible to apply for ongoing employment at NSW Treasury, you must be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or permanent resident of Australia.
