Director – Business Finance
We are looking for Director – Business Finance to join our team and take on responsibility for providing a best-in-class experience for all Masai school applicants while helping them navigate the process of making a life-changing decision. The Business Finance Director will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company and providing strategic financial guidance to the executive team. They will collaborate with other departments to develop budgets and forecasts, provide financial analysis to support decision-making, and ensure the company's financial goals are met.

Develop and implement financial strategies, plans, and budgets that align with the company's objectives.
Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support decision-making across the organization.
Partner with other departments to develop and maintain accurate and timely financial reports, including P&L statements, cash flow statements, and balance sheets.
Manage the financial planning and forecasting process to ensure the company's goals are met.
Monitor and analyze financial metrics to identify trends and make recommendations to optimize financial performance.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards.
Manage and develop a team of finance professionals.
Provide financial insights to support new business initiatives, acquisitions, and other strategic decisions.
Build relationships with external stakeholders, including investors, banks, and other financial institutions.
What you will need to bring (Relevant & overall experience, skillset, competence, etc)
IIT/IIM/ISB pass out.
At least 8-10 years of experience in finance, with a focus on financial planning, analysis, and strategy.
Experience working in a startup.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across the organization.
Proven leadership experience, with the ability to manage and develop a team of finance professionals.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Ability to thrive in ambiguity and adapt to changing priorities.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally and work effectively with senior leaders.
