Key Accountabilities
Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients in the financial markets, understanding their unique hiring needs and providing strategic recruitment solutions.
Candidate Sourcing: Utilize various sourcing methods, including database searches, job boards, networking, and referrals, to identify and attract top-tier finance professionals.
Candidate Assessment: Conduct in-depth interviews and assessments to evaluate candidates’ qualifications, skills, and cultural fit with clients.
Market Knowledge: Stay current with industry trends and market developments, allowing you to provide expert advice to both clients and candidates.
Negotiation: Facilitate offers and negotiations between clients and candidates, ensuring a smooth and mutually beneficial hiring process.
Performance Metrics: Consistently meet and exceed performance metrics and targets, contributing to the overall success of the team and company.
Required experience
To be considered, you will:
Have at least an undergraduate degree
Proven experience as a recruitment consultant or in a similar role within the financial markets
Strong understanding of the financial industry, including knowledge of roles such as traders, analysts, portfolio managers, and compliance professionals.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Additional languages are a plus
Self-motivated and results-oriented with a demonstrated ability to work independently
Adept at using recruitment tools and technologies
High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality
Be comfortable with sourcing and maintaining relationships with individuals at all levels including senior stakeholders
Enjoy working in a fast paced and demanding environment
Person Specification
Team player who is proactive and willing to participate in company discussions
Able to work within company procedures and standards
Keen to develop and learn through training and colleagues
Able to work well under pressure and manage own workload
