Responsibilities
As a Director for Solution Architecture in Zone America, you and your team will work to maintain a holistic overview of the relationships between business operating model, data, and technology
As a leader, you’ll implement enterprise-level solutions leveraging modern architecture patterns that align with business objectives while driving technical excellence and innovation
Lastly, you will develop roadmap plans for optimizing the organization and the talent required to execute strategies within your area
Partner with Development teams and IT Streams solution architects to drive the architecture throughout the solution life cycle
Drive zone architecture governance to ensure that zone solutions adhere to architectural standards, best practices, and strategic objectives
Drive stakeholder engagement, cross-org alignment, and key design decisions in alignment with business requirements
Participate in strategic and architecture planning by providing current state knowledge as well as insights into the future direction
Define future-ready architecture that enables and adopts the strategy for APIs, databases, cloud infrastructures, cloud services, and microservices
Enhance and raise engineering bar on standards and processes to ensure extensibility, scalability, quality, and compliance
Research and stay up to date with the industry's latest and best practices, and experiment with cutting-edge technologies to drive innovation

Position Summary

As a Director for Solution Architecture in Zone America, you and your team will work to maintain a holistic overview of the relationships between business operating model, data, and technology. Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, system analysis, or equivalent experience
• 10+ years of experience in at least two IS/IT disciplines (such as infrastructure or security management, application development, middleware, information analysis) in a multitier environment
• 5+ years of experience as an IT architecture leader or working as a solution architect in an Agile environment
• 2+ experience working in global, matrix organizations with distributed architecture teams

Other
• Experience designing, integrating, and managing complex ISIT solutions, products and platforms is preferred
• Experience in the area of digital business and technologies is preferred
• Understanding of agile methods and processes, and capability of supporting agile project teams by providing advice and guidance on opportunities, impact and risks is preferred
