Your role
Reporting to the Deputy Commissioner, the Director of Legal and Policy will lead and coordinate a team of legal and policy experts to protect and promote human rights, equal opportunity, and equitable outcomes. You will combine a strategic focus with hands-on leadership to guide and empower a high-performing team to achieve the Commission's strategic goals and fulfill our legislative mandate. As a member of the Leadership Team, you will contribute to the broader strategic direction of the Commission, and to the Public Policy and Prevention Directorate.
Mandatory requirements
A Bachelor of Laws with a minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience is a mandatory requirement for this role.
Additional qualifications in related areas such as public policy, social sciences, public administration, or related areas would be highly regarded.
