Lead and contribute to business development initiatives, including identifying new markets, building client relationships, and pursuing major project opportunities.
Serve as a trusted client advisor, representing CIMA+ at key industry events, meetings, and strategic pursuits.
Provide senior technical oversight on major projects, ensuring quality, innovation, and alignment with client expectations.
Mentor and empower engineers and designers at all levels, fostering a culture of technical excellence and professional growth.
Collaborate with internal partners across disciplines and offices to deliver coordinated, high-quality designs and proposals.
Support operational excellence by managing project performance, staffing, and resource planning in collaboration with project managers and technical leads.
Contribute to the continued improvement of design standards, tools, and workflows to enhance quality, efficiency, and sustainability.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) registered with APEGA.
Minimum 15 years of experience in mechanical, electrical, or structural engineering in Alberta for buildings, including project management and client-facing roles.
Demonstrated success leading or supporting teams within a consulting engineering environment.
Proven ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships and identify growth opportunities.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
A strong understanding of the Calgary and Alberta buildings consulting market.
