About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Director of Clinical Science, specializing in respiratory conditions, to contribute significantly to our clinical trial design and execution. In this critical role, you will lead scientific planning efforts for projects focusing on chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and asthma.
You will be responsible for:
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop robust clinical development plans and study protocols.
• Providing insightful scientific input for endpoint selection, patient populations, and study methodologies.
• Overseeing clinical trials to ensure adherence to established scientific rigor, protocols, and quality standards.
• Engaging in data analysis, interpretation, and preparing comprehensive scientific reports and presentations.
• Ensuring regulatory compliance while contributing to safety monitoring and risk management initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have:
• An advanced degree in a life science field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in clinical development, specifically within the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry, focusing on respiratory conditions.
• A strong grasp of clinical trial design, execution, and data analysis.
• An analytical mindset with the capacity to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Exceptional communication, technical writing, and presentation skills.
• A commitment to collaborative teamwork in a cross-functional environment.
• Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and experience with asthma and/or COPD is highly desirable.
