Known for innovation and excellence, the company is embarking on a major $700M+ mixed-use development in Balmain and is seeking a highly experienced Construction Director to lead this landmark project.
About the Role
As the Construction Director you will take charge of this major mixed-use development, managing all aspects of the project lifecycle from inception to completion. The successful candidate will bring significant experience managing large-scale mixed-use projects and demonstrate a proven ability to deliver excellence across all project phases.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of a $700M+ mixed-use development.
Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure seamless delivery.
Manage subcontractor procurement, contract negotiation, and risk mitigation strategies.
Drive adherence to safety, quality, and environmental standards across all stages of the project.
Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, including clients, consultants, and contractors.
Provide leadership to multidisciplinary teams, ensuring collaboration, performance, and motivation.
Monitor project progress and prepare detailed reports for stakeholders.
Address challenges proactively to maintain project momentum and quality outcomes.
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a senior professional with extensive experience in large-scale mixed-use developments:
Proven track record as a Senior Project Manager/Project Director on $300M+ working with Head Contractor or Developer Builder
Exceptional leadership skills, with experience managing diverse teams and stakeholders.
Strong understanding of construction processes, contracts, and project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project).
Excellent communication and negotiation skills to engage with clients and project teams effectively.
A results-driven approach with a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes on time and within budget.
Relevant qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
