Job Title: General Manager – Human Resources (Head HR)
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager – HR (Head HR) to lead the Human Resources function of our organization. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership capabilities and a proven track record in HR transformation, organizational development, cultural change initiatives, performance management systems, and talent management.
The role requires strategic thinking combined with hands-on execution, and a blend of corporate and plant-level HR exposure.
Key Responsibilities:
• Strategic HR Leadership
• Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with overall business objectives.
• Act as a trusted advisor to the leadership team on HR and organizational matters.
• Lead HR transformation initiatives to modernize and streamline HR processes.
• Organizational Development & Culture
• Drive initiatives focused on organizational development, structure redesign, and change management.
• Champion and nurture a performance-driven, inclusive, and collaborative organizational culture.
• Lead internal communication strategies to reinforce cultural values and engagement.
• Performance Management & Talent Development
• Design and implement a robust Performance Management System (PMS) aligned with business goals.
• Drive talent identification, succession planning, and leadership development programs.
• Facilitate training, coaching, and capability-building interventions across levels.
• Compliance & HR Operations
• Ensure compliance with labor laws, statutory requirements, and company policies.
• Lead and improve HR operations including payroll, HRIS, grievance handling, and employee relations.
• Team Leadership
• Lead, coach, and mentor a team of HR professionals across locations.
• Build a high-performing HR team with clear accountability and development focus.
Candidate Profile:
• Educational Qualification: MBA in Human Resources from a reputed institute.
• Experience: Minimum 15 years of progressive HR experience, with a strong mix of manufacturing plant and corporate HR exposure.
• Demonstrated success in driving cultural change, organizational transformation, and performance improvement initiatives.
• Strong understanding of labor laws, compliance, and HR operations within a manufacturing environment.
• Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage HR functions across multiple locations.
