Owned and operated by Seven Seas Hospitality, the hotel provides an extraordinary symbol of chic, opulence, and sophistication. The property has meeting space of 1,00,000 sq ft area, which can accommodate up to 4000 guests, 3 lavish banquet halls, 2 nightclubs, a shopping complex of 6000 sq feet, an all-day dining multi-cuisine restaurant, and a specialty restaurant cum bar. The hotel also offers a health club, steam, sauna, Jacuzzi, and swimming pool.
Role Description
This is a full-time Director of Engineering role for Seven Seas Hotel. The Director of Engineering will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the hotel's engineering department, ensuring the safety and comfort of all guests, and implementing and maintaining energy efficiency standards. This is an on-site role, located in Delhi, India.
• Managing all hotel asset preventive maintenance
• Managing the hotel maintenance team
• Organizing efforts around providing a premier facility to support positive guest experience
• Representing the engineering department in management meetings
• Directing, coordinating, and performing routine, preventive, and emergency interior / exterior maintenance and repairs
• Protecting the integrity of the hotel buildings through maintenance
• Maintaining the hotel, which includes:
• The building structure
• Floors, walls, and ceilings
• Furniture, equipment, and fixtures
• Being in charge of the Engineering store and energy saving team
• Supervising the M&E system, equipment repair, and maintenance
• Scheduling staff training, evaluating, and improving employee performance
Qualifications
• Engineering Management and Team Leadership skills
• Experience in Software Development and Project Management
• Integration experience
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field
• 10+ years of proven experience in a leadership role in engineering or related field
• Experience in the hospitality industry is a plus
