Position: Part-time Fairmont Gold Agent
Job Description

Fairmont Gold is the pinnacle of first class service at the Fairmont Winnipeg. The Fairmont Gold Agent will ensure flawless service to all guests as they arrive, depart, and during they stay, including the services offered in the Fairmont Gold Lounge.

What you will be doing:
• Oversees all aspects of guest service in the daily operation of Fairmont Gold, ensuring the highest level of guest satisfaction at all times.
• Provides exceptional concierge information to our guests and continuously updates iconcierge program to ensure current and relevant information provided.
• Develops and maintains strong relationships with guests to ensure Fairmont Gold Loyalty and handles all daily Fairmont Gold comments and proactively resolve any concerns.
• Inspects Gold guestrooms daily for cleanliness and maintenance issues including completion of housekeeping audits, turndown and occupied rooms cleaning audits.
• Monitors the maintenance of the physical Gold product.
Qualifications
• A minimum of 2 years, hotel concierge experience.
• Must have a proven record of exceeding guest expectations and commitment to guest service.
• Self-Motivating with the initiative and ability to complete projects and tasks in a timely manner.
• Great organizational skills with a proven ability to work under pressure.
• Diploma or degree in hospitality Management is an asset.
• Knowledge of a second language and its application in the hotel / hospitality industry an asset.

• Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day operation of the food and beverage division by implementing procedures and processes that ensure success for the operations in Banquets & Outlets
- Focus on guest experience and growing team members into well-rounded hospitality professionals
- Responsible for ensuring the Hotel Restaurant and Bar provide service that exceeds customer expectations
- Responsible for ensuring all hotel Banquet events are executed as per the Banquet Event Order and mees the guests needs, including adjusting service to meet last-minute requests;
- Develop, train, communicate and reinforce the service vision and standards to team members and coach them in supporting the successful execution of the vision;
- Partner with the Executive Chef, General Manager and Corporate Director of Food and Beverage to plan, create and execute an innovative culinary vision for the hotel.
- Develop an annual strategic plan that will drive guest satisfaction, team member engagement and food and beverage revenue.
- Demonstrate exceptional leadership through a hands-on approach working alongside team members creating a positive work environment by leading through example, counselling team members, and promoting SHG’s, vision, mission, values, and culture.
- Ensure food and beverage budgets and targets are achieved or exceeded, by capitalizing on revenue opportunities while driving a culture of high performance through training and coaching team members.
- Deliver service that is aligned with our vision to creating exceptional experiences.
- Communicate through team meetings to discuss goals, share information, and collaborate with team members to ensure a high level of execution and engagement.
