THE ROLE
The Director of Foodservice Sales will partner with the Vice President of Foodservice to drive sales growth across all segments for the channel. The Director of Sales Foodservice is responsible for both acquisition of new accounts and the retention and management of key accounts. In this assignment, we are looking a self-led, resourceful, and committed partner to help us create the next $1B brand in beverage! Equally important, is the ability to operate with a "Drive, Not Ride" mentality.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
• Identify market opportunities, develop sales plans, and drive execution to maximize revenue in the United States and Canada.
• Build strong relationships with major foodservice operators, headquarter accounts, distributors and GPO's
• Manage a network of brokers to amplify foodservice reach and ensure alignment to strategic initiatives
• Assist in the development of key segment strategy and be responsible for the execution
• Work collaboratively to lead customer reporting, forecasting, and customer on-boarding.
• Contribute to the development and management of annual sales plan and budget as related to the strategic growth plans and objectives of the sales channel
• Complete assigned projects, presentations, and plans as directed by senior management.
• Manage trade spend budget and stay within annual guardrails as a percentage of gross and net sales
• Participate in trade shows or events to form deep customer relations to make poppi top of mind within the foodservice community
• Inform poppi field sales team, local DSD's and broadliners on important retail updates for new accounts confirmed

YOUR BACKGROUND
• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) required
• 7+ years of sales experience in beverage, food or equivalent industry
• Experience working directly with GPO's and distributors
• Strong knowledge of local, regional and national accounts in the foodservice channel
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
• The ability to communicate (written & verbal) in a remote work environment
• The ability to utilize standard office equipment, such as phones and computers
• Travel will vary month to month, but you will need the ability to travel up to 60%
• The ability to sit, stand, walk, and type for long periods of time

COMPENSATION: Our comprehensive compensation package plays a big part in how we recognize you for the impact you have on our path to achieving our mission. For this role, the estimated base salary range is between $145,000- $150,000. The actual base salary will vary based on various factors, including market and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview, process. The listed range above is a guideline, and the base salary range for this role may be modified.
