Manage the screening and onboarding processes for new hires
Provide support and administration for benefits programs, including 401K, profit sharing, health & dental insurance, and life insurance
Continuously evaluate and improve personnel policies, procedures, and compensation plans to align with industry best practices
Oversee regular compensation and performance reviews
Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws and regulations
Handle the management of workers’ compensation claims, unemployment claims, and auto accident reporting
Willingness to travel as required
Develop and implement effective talent acquisition and onboarding processes to reduce time to full productivity and enhance cultural integration, particularly for employees acquired through mergers and acquisitions
Establish user-friendly processes for performance assessment, identification of key roles, and employee potential across the organization

I am working with a growing automotive services company that has multiple locations in multiple states. They are seeking a hands-on HR Director. This should be a high-level generalist with a hands-on approach that is both strategic and tactical in their work approach.
