Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
As Head of Interior Design you will lead an interior design team dedicated to producing functionally beautiful spaces for clients. Use your delivery perspective to bring new approaches to design process and strategy, develop next-generation talent, and help our clients redefine their product and themselves. Developing overall interior design concepts, formulate design presentation strategies, and provide creative leadership to the interiors team through a variety of project types, this person will be a passionate design leader. Portfolio of this firm, although wide across Mixed use, Hospitality, Retail, Commercial and Residential, this role offers exposure to high end, largescale projects.
Role:
• Lead the creative interiors efforts on client projects, developing overall design concepts and design presentation strategies. This individual is key to managing existing client relationships and developing new ones.
• Lead interior design efforts that include programming client needs, conceptual design, schematic design, design development, space planning and construction documentation
• Advise on the selection and presentation of furniture, furniture systems, fabrics, equipment (FF&E), color palettes, and lighting
• Supervise the generation of finish plans, specifications, and material selections needed for construction
• Provide design support and documentation during completion and execution of design concepts
• Work with external consultants, product representatives, furniture dealers, and fabricators
• Mentor and provide creative direction to interior design teams
• Act as the primary interior design interface with clients and consultants
• Collaborate with team members and colleagues to promote an inter-disciplinary design approach and philosophy
• Participate in business development and marketing efforts
