The role is based in-office located in Bengaluru.

The Director of Learning and Development is responsible for driving the organization’s learning strategy, fostering a culture of continuous learning, and ensuring that employees have access to the necessary training and development resources. This role involves designing, implementing, and evaluating programs that enhance employee technology and soft skills, knowledge, and performance aligned with the organization's goals.

Key Responsibilities:

● Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive learning and development strategy that aligns with organizational objectives and enhances workforce capabilities.

● Program Development: Design, implement, and evaluate effective training programs, workshops, and e-learning modules for various levels of employees.

● Leadership Development: Create leadership development programs to identify and nurture future leaders within the organization.

● Assessment and Evaluation: Analyze training needs through surveys, interviews, and performance evaluations to ensure programs meet the evolving needs of the business.

● Collaboration: Work closely with department heads and HR partners to identify skill gaps and develop tailored training solutions.

● Budget Management: Manage the learning and development budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources and cost-effective program delivery.

● Vendor Management: Identify and collaborate with external training vendors and consultants to enhance internal offerings.

● Technology Integration: Leverage technology to enhance learning experiences, including the use of Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other digital tools.

● Performance Metrics: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of learning initiatives and report on progress to senior leadership.

● Culture Building: Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional development across the organization.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.

Experience: 15 - 20 years of experience in learning and development, with at least 5 years in a people management role.

Experience of working in technology services company is mandatory.

Skills:

● Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design.

● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

● Ability to analyze data and use insights to drive decision-making.

● Proven project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously. Familiarity with learning technologies and e-learning platforms.
