Description
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Director of Training to lead the operations of our diversified training group. This role is responsible for developing and delivering the highest quality safety and maintenance training to students worldwide through in-person, virtual, and eLearning delivery methods.
The Director of Training will set the product vision and oversee the roadmap for a diverse portfolio of offerings, ensuring innovation, operational excellence, and measurable return on investment. This leader will align product development, logistics, sales strategy, and financial performance to drive growth, engagement, and market expansion.
What You’ll Be Doing
Define and execute the product vision and roadmap for a diverse training portfolio
Oversee the development of a content strategy that maximizes feature effectiveness and achieves revenue, engagement, and retention targets
Direct product development to meet deadlines and budgets while delivering measurable ROI
Ensure all product offerings leverage current technology and meet or exceed industry standards
Drive innovation to improve existing products and expand into new market opportunities
Develop new revenue streams aligned with ROI targets
Expand product offerings through internal growth initiatives and strategic acquisitions
Build and lead a team of product champions to ensure timely and accurate product delivery
Oversee logistical planning, coordination, and scheduling of training sessions (in-person, virtual, eLearning) to ensure compliance, instructor availability, and efficient resource utilization
Maintain the highest quality standards across all training programs
Provide direction on annual budgeting, including investment strategy, labor planning, overhead costs, and innovation funding
Partner with Sales to align on business development strategy, pricing, structure, and timing
Collaborate with the Director of Business Development to establish and strengthen host locations and training partnerships
Communicate company growth plans, acquisition proposals, and product innovations to the Board of Directors
What You Must Have
5–8 years of experience in content development/production, marketing, operations, or a related field
Experience managing training scheduling and operational efficiencies
Strong electrical and safety knowledge
Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills with a data-driven mindset
Experience leading and managing cross-functional teams
Solid understanding of sales and marketing principles, including cohort targeting, pricing strategy, customer lifetime value, and inventory management
Working knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes
Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills
Ability to travel up to 30%.

Salary & Perks
Compensation: $100,000 – $135,000 annually
