About the Position: At Stampli, we’re on a mission to revolutionize the accounts payable and payments software space, and we’re looking for a dynamic and experienced Director of Product Marketing to join our growing team. As a key leader in our marketing organization, you will play a pivotal role in driving the development of our product messaging, positioning, and go-to-market strategy across all stages of the product lifecycle.You will oversee a talented team of Product Marketing Managers, empowering them to create resonant, data-driven strategies that shape how we present our innovative products to the world. You will guide the team to become subject matter experts in both our products and the market, while also developing scalable processes that support our ambitious growth trajectory.This is an exciting opportunity for a proven leader who is passionate about creating strategic product marketing frameworks, driving impactful launches, and leading a high-performing team. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, customer success, and product, to ensure alignment and drive measurable results that push the business forward.This is a hybrid role based out of our Mountain View, CA office, with 2 days per week in-office.Responsibilities-Lead & Inspire: Direct and mentor a team of four Product Marketing Managers, fostering a collaborative, results-driven culture. You’ll be both a strategic thinker and a hands-on coach, helping the team excel in messaging, enablement, and product launches.-Strategic Messaging & Positioning: Develop and refine compelling product messaging and positioning that resonates with key audiences, including CFOs and controllers, and translates complex technical features into tangible business value.-Scaling & Process Innovation: Design and implement innovative strategies to streamline and scale the PMM function, ensuring your team is set up for long-term success. You'll think outside the box to evolve how a high-performing PMM team operates.-Cross-functional Leadership: Collaborate with sales, customer success, and broader marketing teams to ensure that go-to-market strategies are executed flawlessly. You will help craft brand messaging and storytelling that captures attention across all touchpoints.-Market Expertise: Become a subject matter expert in our accounts payable and payments solutions, as well as our target buyers’ needs and pain points. You’ll drive deep insights into customer workflows, challenges, and the competitive landscape to shape our product marketing efforts.-Enablement & Impact: Partner with sales and customer success leadership to identify training gaps and develop enablement programs that ensure our teams are always equipped to effectively communicate product value.-Drive Product Launches: Manage end-to-end product launches, ensuring clear messaging, alignment across teams, and effective sales enablement. You’ll also track success metrics to measure the impact of your efforts and drive continuous improvement.-Competitive & Industry Insights: Keep a pulse on industry trends and competitor movements, using this information to adjust our product marketing strategies and maintain a competitive edge in the market.Requirements-Experience: 10+ years in product marketing, sales enablement, or sales engineering, with at least 5 years managing and leading teams, ideally in a fast-paced SaaS or fintech environment.-Leadership: Proven ability to develop and inspire high-performing teams, building a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.-Product Expertise: Deep knowledge of product marketing fundamentals, with a track record of successful product launches and go-to-market strategies. Familiarity with accounting software or fintech products is highly preferred.-Strategic Thinking: Strong ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on execution. You thrive in environments where you can innovate, scale, and influence product direction.-Exceptional Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex information into compelling, audience-tailored messaging.-Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical skills with experience setting and measuring PMM metrics to drive ROI and continuous improvement.-Empathy & Emotional Intelligence: A compassionate leader who understands the importance of team morale, creating an environment where every individual can thrive and grow.You will get:-The base salary hiring range for this position is $170,000-$200,000 + Bonus.
