As a Director of DevOps and Platform support at JPMorgan Chase, you are constantly establishing new collaborative partnerships with HR-Work Force Technology Application Dev teams, Global Technology Infrastructure teams, and business partners to work across functions.

Job responsibilities
Manages stakeholders with broad direction on complex projects to ensure work is executed according to compliance standards, service level agreements, and business requirements. Anticipates team needs of immediate team to proactively make decisions to eliminate roadblocks and deliver products and ensure product environment stability
Enhance the availability of our applications by implementing modern observability tooling across Oracle HCM, AWS Cloud, and on-premise platforms
14+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure design, implementation, and maintenance within enterprise software environments. 5+ years of experience in leadership position/management experience, including remote and geographically dispersed teams of engineers
Experience in Batch Monitoring, infrastructure, performance, and application issues. Manage site reliability post-implementation using site monitoring/telemetry for 24x7, always-available infrastructure
Identify, evaluate, and implement tools / technologies to drive automation and optimization of version control, configuration management, security, monitoring and CI/CD processes. Implement and use reliability and support metrics for continuous improvement. Reduce downtime by engineering resiliency into the applications
Create and manage processes, software, and tools to continuously improve the availability, scalability, latency, and efficiency of WorkForce Technology platform. Manage a diverse and global team of skilled engineers and developers
Work closely with the development organization to minimize cost of operations (you will own the reporting of costs to executive stakeholders). Testing and examining code written by others and analyzing results (Agile).
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Experience hiring, developing, and recognizing talent. Draws upon leadership experience to engage team members to expresses complex ideas with appropriate level of detail.
Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 10+ years applied experience.
Need to have experience with Oracle HCM Modules with Global HR, Absence Management, Time and Labor and Oracle Recruiting Cloud
Strong knowledge in tools such as Grafana, Splunk, Dynatrace, AWS, Oracle, Thousand Eyes and synthetic monitoring techniques
Experience running global platform teams for critical applications
Direct experience or at least exposure to all three areas (site reliability, DevOps and technical support)
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
A demonstrable history and deep experience leading technologists to manage, anticipate, and solve complex technical items within your domain of expertise.
5 years of experience assembling, growing, and managing highly effective teams of software engineers
Experience in system design and architecture
Ability to perform technical deep-dives into code, networking, systems, and storage configuration
