Full job description
We are seeking a knowledgeable and passionate CNA Instructor to join our team. The CNA Instructor will be responsible for teaching and training students in both classroom and clinical settings, preparing them with the skills and knowledge needed to provide quality patient care and succeed on the state CNA certification exam.
Responsibilities:
Provide engaging classroom instruction on core CNA topics such as patient care, infection control, safety, and ethics
Supervise and guide students during hands-on skills training and clinical rotations
Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback to support learning and skill development
Maintain accurate attendance, grading, and progress records in compliance with state requirements
Ensure curriculum and teaching methods align with state and program standards
Serve as a professional role model by demonstrating compassion, professionalism, and ethical practice
Qualifications:
Current, active CNA license in the state of Florida (or RN/LPN license with CNA training experience)
Minimum of 2 years of experience in nursing or direct patient care
Prior teaching, training, or mentoring experience preferred
Strong communication and leadership skills
Ability to create a supportive and positive learning environment for students
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 per week
