Job Description
Services Australia (the agency) is seeking experienced leaders with procurement, contract management and/or commercial skills.
Directors within the division operate with a significant degree of independence and work under the broad guidance of a National Manager to deliver quality outcomes.
In performing a leadership role, Directors identify and drive innovation, manage and lead change and have an active role in contributing to and implementing the branch, division and agency’s strategic direction.
Vacancies exist for Directors with relevant skills and experience, including:
Leading strategically important procurements.
Managing complex contractual arrangements and supplier relationships.
Advising on conflict of interest and probity risks.
Panel procurement and management of supplier relationships.
Providing sound commercial advice and guidance.
Experience in any of these areas, or the ability to quickly acquire relevant knowledge and skills, will be highly regarded. Salary is negotiable based on skills and experience.
A merit pool will be established and may be used to fill future vacancies.
