You’ll spearhead constant innovation andperformance for technical SEO, local and content marketing along with cuttingedge aspects of entity search, voice & large-scale schema implementations.
You’ll influence the direction of our organic team and the businessat large by informing strategy while diving in with excitement, curiosity, andtechnical expertise to execute, tinker, and fix where needed.
As a technicalexpert in search engine optimization, you’ll get to research, innovate,suggest, test, and utilize the latest and greatest approachesand products in the space.
You will also have an opportunity toshape some of the cutting-edge products in Milestone Presence Cloud.
Requirements
• 15+ years’ experience managing high-valuecustomers with SEO
• Hard core technical SEO expert who understands the search& its evolution
• Track record of continually improving andoptimizing organic channel performance for a major onlineservice or within an agency environment working with multitudeof industries
• Strong written and oral communication skills withsignificant focus on storytelling with data
• Guide programming / engineering teams fortechnical SEO & automation opportunities
• Strong web analytics skills with working knowledgeof Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics or other click-trackingtools
• Knowledge of local SEO & advanced schemadeployment
• Has worked with large scale global enterprisecustomers & led strategy for achieving business goals.
• Basic web design and development knowledge (HTML, CSS,XHTML, JavaScript, Python scripts, robots,etc.) is a big plus!
• Solid understanding and experience of workingin Omni-channel digital marketing environment includingpaid, social, and content marketing
• Excellent skills to present to C-level, and topstrategic customers
• Insatiable curiosity and learning agility
• Big plus - Public speaking skills and goodnetwork in digital marketing community in India
Job Responsibilities
• Create vision & roadmap for entire SEO,local, schema & content offerings and keep Milestone ahead ofthe curve
• Ensure positive client health across entire portfolio ofMilestone customers
• Lead strategic planning with key internal &client stakeholders
• Lead outcomes for client renewals, expansion, andadvocacy
• Show value of Milestone’s products and services thatimpact business needs
• Establish yourself as a trusted advisor byunderstanding client needs, industry trends, and translating those intoimpact-drive solution for clients
• Be part of client pitches and win new accounts
• OKR alignment Responsible for aligning companyOKRs with department OKRs and individual OKRs for India office.
• Innovation - play significant rolein establishing thought leadership and working with the Milestone R / D teamand product team to drive innovation and create cutting edgestrategies.
