Job Title: Director- Software Development
Work Location - Chennai
Experience - 15-18 Years
What does a great Director- Software Development do?
In this role as a Director – Software Development, you will be responsible for delivery of projects, lead new technology adoption & cloud migration, people management and implement automation & AI for bringing in efficiency in Contact Services Technology portfolio.
What you will do:
· Lead the delivery of multiple products in Contact Service Technology portfolio
· Set direction and strategy for cloud adoption and tech modernization
• Drive improvements across projects through automation and new technology adoptions
• Focus on innovation to drive efficiency and improved client experience
· Manage multiple stakeholders in different geographies
· Lead diverse team of developers, SMEs, project managers, business analysts, testers to achieve business goals
What you will need to have:
• 15+ years of experience in technology working at large organizations, preferably within Financial Services
• Strong background and understanding of full SDLC using .NET technology stack including but not limited to – C#, ReactJS, APIs, Microservices, SQL Server, Python etc.
• Experience with Contact Center technology (IVR, Chat, Visual IVR, Virtual Assistant etc.)
• Experience in Cloud technologies & modernizing tech platforms
• Experience with Agile, SCRUM, Waterfall, DevOps
• Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence
• 10+ years of experience in managing diverse teams
• Ability to guide and coach teams on approach to achieve goals aligned against a set of strategic initiatives
• Build and maintain relationships by engaging business leaders to establish credibility, solve problems, build consensus and achieve objectives
• Ability to think strategically, solve problems and make complex decisions
• Successful track record collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive alignment and action
• Excellent communication (written, verbal, and presentation) and interpersonal skills
• Prior experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Clarity
