Job Description:
Responsibilities • Team leadership: manage and lead teams, effectively manage and mentor staff, establish priorities, and develop a winning strategy.• Process Leadership: Work with colleagues to effectively lead our agile development processes. Enhance process maturity to aid teams in producing high-quality releases more consistently.• Talent management: Recruit managers, test engineers, and developers who can increase the performance standard for the expanded engineering team in order to create a world-class development team.• Technology and Product Transition: Once the new teams get going, lead and oversee transitional efforts. Develop a strategy for how the team will quickly acquire the necessary technological skills and domain knowledge over time.• Creating an environment that enables and encourages team members to better grasp our business objectives and challenge the status quo will drive innovation in the product. To help deliver products and features that lead the market, work closely with product managers.• Customer & Support Focus: Promote a culture where support issues are minimised and response times for fixes that are essential to customer success and revenue are tracked.Requirements• Computer engineering degree or master's degree in engineering• Five or more years of senior management experience; development through technical and managerial experience.• Must have 15+ years of product development experience in a company of the same (or higher) size.• Working knowledge of agile and devops environments with a focus on rapid release of new features and products.• Management and leadership experience in a development team that produced code and technology for the cloud or the Web.• A SaaS-based mentality.• The capacity to collaborate with global resources in a variety of cultural and climatic contexts.• Previous experience developing and programming corporate applications. One of this person's major competencies is having in-depth and comprehensive expertise of leading development teams in a large-scale distributed setting.• Expertise in essential technologies, such as Angular, Ruby, Java, JavaScript, Node.js, and other frameworks.• Strong writing and verbal communication skills; ability to interact with team members, management staff, and end users across the business.• Outstanding problem-solving abilities, particularly when working with development teams and enterprise software products
