Job Description:
As a Disability Support Worker at NDCS, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, person-centered care to clients across all age groups. This includes offering emotional support, assisting with daily living activities, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes for each client. You will play a key role in helping clients achieve their goals and improve their quality of life, whether they are dealing with a disability, mental health issues, or aging-related challenges.
Responsibilities:
Provide emotional support and counseling to clients with mental health issues, ensuring their mental and emotional well-being.
Assist clients with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, household tasks, and medication management.
Monitor and document clients’ progress, ensuring any significant changes in their condition are reported to the relevant healthcare professionals.
