About the Role
As a Support Worker with ADSS, you will provide hands-on support to participants in their homes and within the community. You will play a vital role in helping individuals achieve their personal goals, build confidence, and enhance their quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
Provide person-centred support aligned with individual care plans
Assist with daily living activities (personal care, meal preparation, household tasks)
Support participants in accessing the community and attending appointments
Promote independence, skill development, and social inclusion
Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes
Follow all NDIS guidelines, policies, and safeguarding practices
About You
You will ideally have:
Experience working in disability, aged care, or community services
A strong understanding of person-centred care
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A positive, patient, and empathetic approach
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Essential Requirements
NDIS Worker Screening Check
Working With Children Check (WWCC)
Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
Valid Driver’s Licence & reliable vehicle
Right to work in Australia
Desirable (but not essential)
Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability, or related field
Experience supporting participants with complex needs or behaviours
Job Type: Casual
Pay: $32.00 – $34.00 per hour
Licence/Certification:
NDIS Worker Screening (Required)
First Aid Certification (Preferred)
Working with Children Check (Required)
