Job Description
We are looking for an experienced support worker to join our team and provide high-quality care to a teenage participant with complex support needs.
This role requires a compassionate, reliable, and skilled individual who is confident working with young people and has experience supporting individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (Level 3) and high support needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide day-to-day support with activities of daily living (ADLs)
Deliver structured, safe, and engaging support to a teenage participant
Support implementation of behaviour support plans and therapeutic strategies
Assist with community access, appointments, and social engagement
Perform PEG feeding in accordance with clinical guidelines and care plans
Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes
Work collaboratively with families, coordinators, and allied health professionals
Essential Requirements:
Demonstrated experience supporting participants with Autism (Level 3) and complex needs
Proven experience with PEG feeding (enteral feeding) and relevant training/competency
Relevant qualifications in Disability, Community Services, Nursing, or related field
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
Working With Children Check (WWCC)
Valid First Aid & CPR certification
Current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
Strong understanding of professional boundaries, duty of care, and safeguarding practices

Professional with strong communication skills
Sensible decision-making and ability to work independently
Highly Desirable:
Experience working with teenagers or young people
Currently studying or completed studies in Allied Health (e.g., Nursing, OT, Psychology, Social Work)
Strong verbal and written English communication skills
