Due to continued growth, we are currently seeking experienced and compassionate Support Workers to join a dedicated team providing support to participants living in Murray Bridge.
This opportunity involves supporting individuals with complex support needs, working alongside an established team of professionals who are committed to promoting dignity, safety, and quality of life.
The Role
Using a person-centred and active support approach, the Disability Support Worker will work as part of a team to deliver high-quality supports to people living with disability.
You will be required to work in line with each participant's plans, including:
Individual Support Plan
Health Care Plan
Medication Plan
Meal Plan
Manual Handling Plan
Key responsibilities include:
Provide person-centred support aligned with participants' individual care plans.
Assist with personal care, mobility, and daily living tasks.
Implement Behaviour Support Plans and follow regulated restrictive practice protocols where applicable.
Support participants with complex health needs including PEG feeding, manual handling, and other clinical supports (training provided where required).
Monitor health and wellbeing and report incidents or changes in condition in accordance with organisational procedures.
Maintain accurate documentation including progress notes and incident reports.
Work collaboratively with families, allied health professionals, and the broader support team.
About You
We are seeking support workers who are experienced, reliable, and committed to delivering respectful and high-quality care.
You will ideally have:
Experience supporting people with complex disability or high support needs
Understanding of NDIS Practice Standards and behaviour support approaches
Confidence supporting individuals with communication barriers
Strong observation skills and a calm, patient approach
Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
Skills & Essential Requirements
Minimum Certificate III in Disability, Individual Support or equivalent
NDIS Worker Screening Check
Working with Children Check (WWCC)
Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
Current Manual Handling Certificate
Current Assist with Medication Certificate
Valid Driver's licence and reliable vehicle
Valid working rights in Australia
