Our client requires experienced Female Disability Support Workers who have experience supporting people with high-intensity personal and clinical care. This role reports to an Area Manager, who supports and trains you to ensure you deliver exceptional care.
About The Role
In home care assisting and enabling participants with daily tasks including tracheostomy and PEG/J feeding management, continence support, safe manual handling, medication administration, and monitoring of wellbeing while supporting communication needs.
Assisting with domestic duties around the home.
Supporting clients to engage and participate in their community.
Support and enable participants to achieve their goals.
About You:
Minimum 1 plus years of experience in the disability sector.
Experience across a range of disabilities, including experience with tracheostomy, PEG & SPC.
Minimum Certificate III Disability or similar/higher.
Good communication skills.
Empathy for the issues facing people with a disability.
Strong belief in the principles of Person Centred Practices.
Highly organised and proactive.
NSW Driver’s License (or similar) plus own car is desirable.
