Job responsibilities include but aren't limited to:
• Maintaining a safe, sanitary, and organized work environment
• Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, and utensils using the appropriate cleaning methods and equipment
• Collect, load, and wash used kitchenware using commercial machinery, 3 compartment sink system, or by hand.
• Maintain stock of clean dishes, dinnerware, and silverware as well as cleaning supplies
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dishwashing area
• Follow proper sanitation procedures and adhere to health and safety regulations at all times
• Check washing machines' operation and promptly report any technical/performance issues
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in all storage areas
• Clean station and floor areas of the kitchen
• Knowledge of our equipment and the ability to use during service
• Knowledge of Health Dept Regulations and proper use of chemicals
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure a seamless flow of clean dishes and utensils during busy periods
• Empty, clean, and sanitize trash bins regularly
• Report any maintenance or repair needs to the kitchen manager or supervisor
Our ideal candidate will possess:
• 2+ years of relevant Dishwashing experience
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work well within a team and follow instructions.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects, as needed.
• Knowledge of proper food handling and sanitation techniques is a plus.
• Dresses for success and is well groomed.
• Availability nights and Weekends
• Has integrity, does the right thing when no one is looking.
• Able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
• Able to work as part of a team in a busy Back of house and Front of house atmosphere
