Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchenware, dishes, and utensils, ensuring a smooth and hygienic operation in a fast-paced food service environment. This role is essential to supporting the overall dining experience and maintaining high standards of cleanliness within the establishment.
Responsibilities
Wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment using appropriate cleaning methods
Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure proper storage of clean items
Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including organizing supplies and cleaning work areas
Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to prevent contamination
Manage waste disposal and recycling processes efficiently
Support kitchen staff with basic food handling and hospitality duties when required
Ensure all health and safety regulations are adhered to at all times
Experience
Prior experience in a restaurant, hotel, or food service environment is preferred but not required
Familiarity with cleaning procedures and food handling standards is advantageous
Experience with kitchen or food preparation tasks is a plus
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude are essential for success in this role
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 4 months
Pay: $17.20-$23.71 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
