Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced chef-driven kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within our kitchen and dining area , ensuring that all dishes, utensils,tables and cooking equipment and areas are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential to supporting our staff and providing excellent service to our guests.
Responsibilities
Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans by hand or using commercial dishwashing equipmentst.
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and dining area, including floors, tables , countertops, and cooking equipment.
Properly store clean dishes and utensils in designated areas to ensure easy access for kitchen staff.
Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Help with the disposal of waste and recycling in accordance with health regulations.
Collaborate with supervisors to ensure smooth operations during peak service times.
Qualifications
Familiarity with food handling practices and sanitation standards is a plus.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Strong teamwork skills and the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
Must be able to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights as required by the job duties.
