Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
Assist with food plating and presentation to ensure quality and consistency
Handle food safely and maintain proper hygiene standards in accordance with food safety regulations
Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment efficiently to ensure cleanliness and availability for food preparation
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, including counters, floors, and storage areas
Support meal preparation during busy service times to ensure timely delivery of orders
Restock supplies as needed to keep the kitchen organized and fully equipped
Follow all health and safety guidelines to create a safe working environment for staff and customers
Qualifications
Previous experience in serving, food preparation, or cooking within a restaurant or food service environment is preferred
Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety standards
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and bending
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including weekends or evenings if required
