YTR Transport Inc. is a fast-growing logistics company operating across Atlantic Canada, Quebec, Ontario, and the United States. We specialize in dedicated linehaul, temperature-controlled freight, and last-mile delivery. We are currently seeking a Dispatcher to join our Halifax-based operations team.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and dispatch local and cross-border loads efficiently
Monitor real-time driver progress and provide support throughout trips
Communicate effectively with drivers, clients, and partner carriers
Manage scheduling, route planning, and problem-solving under pressure
Ensure compliance with Canadian and U.S. transportation regulations
Maintain accurate trip records, ELD logs, and load documentation
What We’re Looking For:
1+ year experience in dispatching .
Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
Familiarity with ELD systems, load boards, and dispatching software
Knowledge of cross-border trucking operations is an asset
Flexible availability, including early mornings, evenings, or weekends as needed
