Job Description
We are a USA based privately owned trucking company, looking for an experienced planner/dispatcher to help manage our growing divisions.
Key Responsibilities:
Efficiently schedule and manage port pickups, deliveries to the customer and empty returns within the free time
Ensure dispatch records are timely and accurately updated in the company's DMS
Maintain communication with Dispatch and CSR team to address and resolve service delivery issues
Monitor containers to avoid demurrage and per diem by ensuring that all containers are picked from and returned to the marine terminals
Interaction with clients, based over seas.
Qualifications:
Basic knowledge of MS Excel, Outlook, Word & PowerPoint.
Must have Dispatching experience
USA Port Experience preferred
Fluent in English.
