Dispatcher/Customer Service
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to our clients. This is a vital role in our organization, as you will be the primary point of contact for our customers, ensuring their needs are met and their inquiries are resolved in a timely manner.
Duties:
- Handle incoming customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat
- Provide accurate and efficient data entry for customer orders
- Assist customers with product information, pricing, and availability
- Collaborate with the supply chain team to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Resolve customer complaints or issues in a professional and courteous manner
- Communicate effectively with internal teams to address customer concerns and provide solutions
- Utilize phone systems and software applications to assist customers and track interactions
- Coordinate with freight carriers to arrange shipments and track deliveries
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions using SyteLine or AS400 systems
- Collaborate with third-party logistics (3PL) providers to ensure smooth order fulfillment
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree preferred
- Previous experience in a customer service role is highly desirable
- Excellent typing skills with the ability to type accurately and quickly
- Strong analytical skills to assess customer needs and provide appropriate solutions
