40 Hours (5 Days out of 7 Days, Monday to Friday)

Office Hours: 0+:00 until 17:30, occasional out-of-hours support as needed

We are currently recruiting for a Distribution Assistant, a curious individual who is looking to grow their skills in the distribution space. Previous experience in a similar role and a qualification in programming or similar would be advantageous, however anyone with a keen interest and previous experience in front office/ reservations will be considered. This is a unique opportunity to join our Revenue & Distribution Team as we embark on a transformation journey to join our family of hotels.

Reporting to the Assistant Distribution Manager, the Distribution Assistant will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day needs of the distribution function for all hotels in the portfolio; ensuring all systems are functioning at optimal levels to support the group, and swiftly troubleshooting and solving any issues that may arise.

Key Duties will include:
• Responsible for rate loading in all integrated systems to ensure all information entered in is accurate.
• Configuration of all rates/room types/promotions/allocation blocks /packages /availability /closeouts in all systems such as (but not limited to), Opera, Ihotelier and Travelclick.
• Ensure true representation on all channels in respect of rates, restrictions, policies and hotels content.
• Support with connectivity and delivery from OTA marketing campaigns well in advance in order to boost hotel's performance.
• Monitor website and all digital systems to ensure they are fully operational, identify and deal with general functional issues/queries for all digital systems.

What we'd like from you
• Previous experience working in a hotel front office/reservations role.
• Proficiency in PMS e.g. OPERA is essential.
• Knowledge of a Channel Manager or GDS system (desirable).
• Genuine interest in the intricacies of systems and a desire to understand how they work.
• Eagerness to learn and develop.
• Able to communicate effectively.
