Purpose:

We are now seeking an experienced, dynamic, and commercially savvy Distributor Manager to join our KC Professional business, based out of our Brisbane office. As part of the Channel team, the role will encompass managing and growing the performance of a designated portfolio of customers in the KC Professional distributor network across Queensland. Reporting into the Head of Channel ANZ, you will be responsible for establishing strategic relationships and executing sales plans with key KC Professional distributor partners to generate revenue for the business.

Our role represents a great opportunity for career minded individuals looking to grow and develop within a Global business. You enjoy a challenge and have a strategic mindset to formulate insight and fact-based customer plans, develop joint business plans and implement initiatives with distributor partners around 5 key enablers; Finance, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain and eCommerce, that will drive mutual growth in the relevant categories and segments.

With the above, you will ensure initiatives that are cascaded by the Strategic Distributor Manager for our National Partners, are implemented along with conducting regular business reviews to check and adjust against joint business plans. There will also be accountability in implementing key business initiatives across local distributor partners in Queensland.

Further Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Create demand for business, captured through an opportunity pipeline with targeted channel partners and collaborate with Distributor Sales Representatives (DSR) & KC Professional Account Managers to drive online & offline activity.

Engage our DSR network to enable them to grow our business through product training, joint business calls and incentive programs.

Leverages eCommerce strategies and platforms to advance the evolution of Distributor partners go-to-market strategies

About You

Ideally a university graduate with a degree in Sales, Marketing, Business or a related area, and have at least 5 years of continuous work experience. Experience in a Distributor Management or Channel Manager role in a B2B context will be highly regarded. You love what you do, especially when the work you do makes a difference. Job Requirements

You are someone that is in a Sales or a similar capacity role that will bring forward solid experience across FMCG or similar industry with Direct Selling in B2B field. You have a passion and understanding of consumers & shoppers, putting them at the heart of everything you do

You possess a strategic approach with strong analytical ability, business acumen and strong communication, presentation and influencing skills across all levels. Your experience working across a matrix, cross functional environment will also benefit you in being successful in this role

Your ability to build healthy working relationships, deliver commitments & hold others accountable will be highly valued and will bring forward demonstrated experience in managing multiple stakeholders cross functionally, whilst articulating and identify business priorities, drivers, risks and opportunities

You are customer focused; as we put the customer at the heart in everything that we, you will need to have sound customer liaison skills, coupled with influencing and negotiation skills.

You are a team player, and you bring forward your great communication as well as stakeholder management skills and apply your commercial acumen towards achieving results. Together with your skills and experience, you hold Tertiary qualifications in Business or similar discipline.
