Your team
You will be a member of Hollard’s Commercial Direct Distribution Team, which is responsible for managing Hollard’s portfolio of distribution partnerships with CBA, Greenstone and Woolworths Everyday Insurance (EDI). The Distribution Manager will report to the Senior Manager, Strategic Alliance and is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to drive profitable growth for the Insurance portfolio, enhance distribution efficiency, and effectively manage partner relationships.
Your role
As a Distribution Manager the core functions of your role will be to:
Drive the development, co-design and execution of key distribution (including acquisition and retention) initiatives to support the achievement of joint business plan objectives.
Contribute to the partnership strategy and joint business plan.
Deliver financial performance via effective new business and retention initiatives.
Cultivate and maintain strong, positive working relationships with all key stakeholders to enhance partnership health.
Your duties and responsibilities
Lead the development and implementation of our partner distribution plan to maximise penetration of the customer base and achieve business growth objectives.
Co-design of acquisition and retention initiatives to drive customer growth as a key component of annual business planning (facilitated by Distribution Strategy & Advisory), including the evaluation of distribution channel performance and processes.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains across distribution operations.
Oversee and participate in planning, developing and adherence to portfolio budgets and delivery to key financial and non-financial performance targets relevant to acquisition.
About You
Must have at least 7 years of experience in the general insurance industry with proven track record of success in distribution management is required.
Proficiency in analysing financial (e.g. ROMI) and non-financial (e.g. sales funnel, NPS) data to derive insights and inform growth strategies.
Must have in-depth knowledge of customer management practices to effectively manage customer interactions.
Sound knowledge of consumer markets and sales funnel function.
Proven sales skills in the insurance industry (or relevant) are required.
Must have ability to cultivate strategic relationships for the benefit of your team and the business.
