Here's how a District HRPD Coordinator for PCL Construction Management Inc. within Edmonton Buildings contributes to our team:

Responsibilities
Leads the process for the district’s student program; plans and organizes college recruiting activities, including orientations, events, networking with colleges and universities, managing databases, and coordinating interviews.
Provides support to HRPD team in recruiting and on boarding practices (entry-to mid-level positions).
Provides administrative support to HRPD programs and policy administration as first point of contact.
Participates in district HRPD strategic planning process. Provides support on district-level projects/initiatives as assigned.
Assists with research and general administrative support pertaining to total rewards.
Provides administrative support for career management process and systems.
Maintains and prepares scheduled and ad hoc reporting as needed.
Assists with coordination and administration of training and facilitation plans/ programs.
Provides implementation support to district HRPD manager on corporate and regional initiatives.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related discipline preferred.
Working towards an HR designation preferred.
Some co-op/internship or relevant experience preferred.
Basic understanding of HRPD-related principles, practices, procedures and employment legislation.
Ability to act with discretion when handling confidential information.
Ability to research and analyze information.
Able to work independently or in a team environment in a highly matrixed organization.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Organizational skills, high level of detail orientation, and ability to multitask and prioritize conflicting deadlines.
Good networking skills with the ability to develop and maintain HR networks.
Results-oriented and able to meet deadlines.
