Job Description
As a Django developer you will be responsible for building and maintaining web applications using the Django REST framework. The developer will work with a team of designers and developers to create and deploy functional web applications.
Responsibilities
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using the Django REST framework
• Design and implement scalable web applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Maintain existing codebase and develop new features and functionalities
• Design and build databases(SQL, NoSQL) required for web applications
• Host APIs on AWS EC2, Elastic Beanstalk etc
• Test and document APIs using tools like Postman, Swagger UI etc
• Troubleshoot and debug applications
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality
• Ensure high performance and responsiveness of web applications
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in web development
• Lead and train Junior developers and interns
Qualifications
• Proven experience as a Django developer
• Strong understanding of the Django REST framework, including Flask, Django ORM and Django web framework
• Proficiency in Python programming language
• Good understanding of AWS services like EC2, Elastic Beanstalk, S3, etc
• Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience with SQL, NoSQL(mongo db) databases and database design
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
• Understanding of agile software development methodologies
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
