Description
We are looking for a passionate Junior/Mid Software Engineer, who will be working in a modern development environment with tools such as: C and C++14/17, Yocto Linux, CMake, Git/GitHub EE and others.
You will join the team one of the biggest European Automotive OEMs and help in design and implement embedded software for the electronic control units of the cars as well as related tools and frameworks.
Beside that, the team is responsible for development, integration validation of multiple Middleware applications and services for the current and next generation car lines. We work in areas of remote software update, telematics & connectivity, context-aware systems, and application platforms.
We are committed to modern development methodologies and tools like continuous integration, agile development, and test automation to design and implement innovative and high-quality software.
Requirements
• 3+ years of proven project experience in software engineering
• Experiance with Linux Services, systemd, core dump
• Good knowledge of C/C++, CMake
• Experience with embedded systems
• Experience with git, Github, and Gerrit
• Experience with Agile SCUM or Kanban and Jira
Nice to have:
• Knowledge of Python
• Experience SW development for the automotive industrie
• Experience with Yocto, QNX, Gtest, Gmock, Zuul, bazel
Job responsibilities
• Participate in the analysis, diagnosis and troubleshooting of SW issues.
• Maintain and enhance the existing codebase and platform.
• Test and validate functionality using simulations, stubs, and real hardware
• Work in an Agile Scum or Kanban environment with other team members.
• Support management with selected, development specific tasks.
• The majority of work will be feasible to be done remotely.
