Document Management Technician

As a Technician - Document management working in the building team at Pomerleau Construction, you will manage documentation, procedures and standards within the framework of a construction project and in compliance with contractual requirements. Contributing on various large-scale projects – ranging from $1.5 million to upwards of $1 billion – you will have the opportunity to work closely with a variety of stakeholders to improve internal electronic document management processes.

What You Will Do


Administer the electronic document management platform.
Manage user access and permissions.
Apply the document coding and identification system.
Ensure that document management processes are properly followed.
Act as a resource person for users of the documentation platform.
Carry out document control on deliverables, plans and specifications and ensure distribution to the various stakeholders.
Assisting stakeholders in searching for and tracking project documents in the documentation system.
Participate in improving internal electronic document management processes.
This role could be for you if you have


You have an educational background in document management/archiving or Documentation technician or other related field.
Relevant experience in document management.
Good knowledge of standard computer software (Office suite, Adobe Acrobat);
Analytical mind, ability to manage several files simultaneously, good adaptability, organizational skills and good judgment;
Interpersonal and teamwork skills.
Additional Assets Include:

Fluent in both official languages written and oral (English and French).
Knowledge of Procore/Aconex.
