Job Description
Handles exports, imports, and financing products in accordance with India's regulatory requirements.
Issues Letters of Credit (LC) and Bank Guarantees while adhering to local regulations and FEMA guidelines.
Experienced in NBFC funding, generic financing, trade credits, pre- and post-shipment financing.
Familiar with external benchmark handling of freely convertible currencies.
Understands trade operational reporting through EDPMS and IDPMS systems.
Handles audits (RBS Tranche III, Concurrent, and Statutory).
Trains and guides the team on trade products and interacts with back-office/vendors for improved turnaround times and quality measurement.
Collaborates with product, legal, and compliance teams for structured deals and complex operations.
Works with customer service and business units to address client requirements and provide solutions.
Monitors nostro and working accounts.
Develops automation projects related to trade products.
Familiar with RBI master circulars and directions.
Aware of UCP/URDG/URC/URR/ISBP guidelines and holds CDCS certification (if applicable).
Maintains a risk & compliance mitigation approach.
Manages teams independently, ensuring work-life balance.
Ensures transactions are processed according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and highlights any procedural modifications when required.
Promotes timely transaction processing within specified turn-around times (TAT).

Your Key Responsibilities
You will manage time-critical Trade Operational processes governed by multiple regulations. You should have comprehensive knowledge of external guidelines or be willing to learn and adapt.
13-18 years of experience in the Trade Finance industry is preferred.
Your Skills and Experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word is mandatory.
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
Problem-solving attitude and resolving conflicting situations.
Able to meet tight deadlines and maintain accuracy in high-pressure situations.
A customer-centric orientation to achieve outcomes aligned with organizational expectations.
Familiarity with FEMA guidelines.
Understanding of global guidelines (UCP, URDG, URC, ISBP).
Ability to guide and train teams.
Education/Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree from a recognized University is the minimum qualification.
Familiarity with regulatory guidelines (RBI circulars and guidelines).
