Full job description
Shifts would be 8am - 4:30pm, with a 30minute paid lunch break.
We try to keep as consistent a schedule as possible, so shifts would be Wednesdays to Saturdays. Then we also work Tuesdays but it depends on how busy that time of year is so sometimes it’s a full day, sometimes a half day, and sometimes we’re closed.
The qualities we need in a new team member are:
display and maintain good personal hygiene
excellent time management and organization skills
ability to perform heavy lifting and control large dogs
keen sense of observation regarding the safety of the pets in our care
ability to stay focused and patient during busy periods
The main duties include bathing, blow drying and general cleaning/sanitizing and upkeep of the salon. You will also be shown some reception duties like checking in/out clients and booking appointments.
It is not required, but we do appreciate when a short cover letter is included so we can know a little more about either your experience in the pet industry or what experience you have that would make you a good fit for our team.
