Job Description
We’re a busy dog daycare looking for reliable, team-oriented handlers to manage group play, maintain a clean environment, and keep dogs safe and happy throughout the day.
This is not a “sit and pet dogs” job. It’s active, fast-paced, and requires strong awareness, quick decision-making, and confidence working with large groups of dogs.
What You’ll Do
• Supervise and actively manage group play (pack behavior)
• Maintain calm, controlled environments (prevent escalation, redirect behavior)
• Safely move dogs between yards, kennels, and grooming
• Clean and sanitize play areas, kennels, and common spaces
• Follow feeding + medication instructions carefully
• Communicate clearly with team members throughout the day
What We’re Looking For
• Comfortable handling multiple dogs at once
• Calm, assertive energy
• Quick thinker; can spot issues before they escalate
• Physically active (on your feet, lifting, bending, moving all day)
• Reliable and punctual (team depends on you showing up on time)
• Works well in a team environment
Bonus
• Prior dog daycare, boarding, vet, or kennel experience
• Understanding of dog body language and behavior
• Experience with large or high-energy breeds
Schedule
• Full-time & part-time positions available
• Weekend and holiday availability required
Pay & Perks
• Competitive hourly pay
• Tips
• Opportunities for growth within the company
• Work with dogs every day in a professional environment
Important
This is a high-energy, hands-on role. You will be moving, cleaning, and actively managing dogs for most of your shift. If you’re looking for a low-key or relaxed environment, this is not the position.
