Key Skills:
Good understanding of Android architecture
Good understanding of Android programming environment using Binders, Shared memory, IPC mechanisms, etc.
Good knowledge in Android Services/Framework layer and its debugging
Programming experience preferably in Java, C++, Android OS
Preferred expertise in Vehicle Interface & knowledge on Infotainment systems
Debugging skills to troubleshoot problems in any layer of Android
HMI for Android Infotainment systems covering Wireless In car services (but not limited to)
Good experience in Software release management on Android
Exposure to Automotive Infotainment Domain
Tools: GIT & Gerrit, JIRA, Jenkins, Android source build system, Android debugging tools
Good debugging skills in analysing android native crashes, software watchdog, uncaught exceptions, ANR issues, CTS issue, Memory leaks, etc.
Good to have prior experience working with BMW Projects
Android Automotive OS, Car API, Vehicle HAL and Android Build System
